We have identified 48 nations in 5 different regions of the world- Africa, Americas, Caribbean, Europe and Pacific.

We need widespread representation at this initial stage and are looking for Padel entities such as federations, associations or clubs to act as official representatives for each country.

Memorandum of Association

I – The Association name is Commonwealth Padel Federation.

II – The Commonwealth Padel Federation further referred to as CPF, intends to be the padel authority and the arbitrator of all padel related matters in the commonwealth member countries.

III – The CPF is an association where Players, Referees, Coaches, Clubs, padel associations/federations, and the padel circuits are represented.

IV – The objectives for which the members choose to associate are:

  1. Uphold padel as an independent sport
  2. Promote positive working relationships within the CPF affiliate members
  3. Organize and homologate official Competitions
  4. Produce and disseminate the technical knowledge of the sport
  5. Set equivalencies for coaches’ and referees’ program levels
  6. Promote youth development programs, and support developing countries
  7. Enforce sportsmanship at all CPF activities
  8. Represent the CPF and its associates in Higher Sports Institutions
  9. Strengthening friendship and sporting ties between the different members
  10. Acting as arbitrator and resolving any disputes between Members and Associates
  11. Enforcing the Bylaws and regulations of CPF within its members and Associates
  12. Setting the rules of the game and how it should be played, as well as the regulations for padel related materials and equipment, such as courts, rackets, balls, etc.
  13. Accept all TAS sanctions

Article 1: Legal Form and Headquarters

  1. The CPF is a duly registered non-profit society entered in the register of companies under the Province of Alberta, Canada,
  2. CPF’s headquarters shall be situated in the City of Calgary, province of Alberta- Canada
  3. CPF can have representation headquarters in different Continents when decided by the Associates

Article 2: Objectives

The objectives of the CPF shall be to:

  1. a) uphold padel as an independent sport
  2. b) deal with all questions related to Padel on behalf of CPF affiliates
  3. b) monitor and control the development of Padel our CPF affiliates
  4. c) organize and conduct official Padel competitions and tournaments
  5. d) prevent all methods or practices which might jeopardize the regularity of matches or competitions or give rise to the abuse of Padel;
  6. e) promote and protect ethical standards and good governance
  7. f) ensure that sporting values always prevail over commercial interests;
  8. h) promote unity among Affiliates ,Members & Associates and safeguard their overall interests
  9. l) maintain good relations and cooperate with the international sports authorities;
  10. m) respect the interests of Members, settle disputes between Members and Associates and assist them in any matter upon request.
  11. n) Act disciplinarily in matters such as respect for contracts established amongst its Members and Associates with players, coaches, referees, or clubs, as well as provider companies.

Article 3: Official Languages

  1. The official language of the CPF shall be English
  2. Official documents and official records of the CPF shall be published in English.
